More Goodies!

I've been busy lately so, I thought I'd share some old finds that I have around the house. I found this coffee table at PB Outlet for $30! No joke! You can still buy them at Pottery Barn here. They are on sale for $299.
Of course it looks better in the catalog.

This is my butch, and my favorite find ever. We have named it this because I think it totally looks like a bench, but it is really meant to be a hutch on top of a buffet. I absolutely LOVE it!
It was 50 bucks at PB Outlet.
Here is what it is supposed to look like...
And originally $599. They still sell them, but I couldn't find it in the catalog.
I think it looks much better as a bench, but I guess I'm not Martha Stewart either.

And my last find is this cute little glass I got from my friend Goodwill.
Don't pay attention to the dirty screen, my kids were yelling and I was lucky to get the picture.
This was 39 cents. And originally $760 from Tiffanys. Ha Ha, yeah right, it probably came
from Montgomery Wards for $6. I don't know!

Signs, Signs, Everywhere There's Signs

If you need a sign, I've found the place for you! They are super cute, and she personalizes too. Plus, I'm pretty sure this sign was made for me... and I'm probably going to have to make one.

I thought these were cute too, plus they'd be super easy to do yourself.

You can get them from The Homespun Raven at etsy.

GRRR!

I totally want one of these. I see a project in my future. Can't wait to make one of these and then stroll into a serious meeting! He He! I found this book cover at fanboy.com. You can buy ones similar to this on etsy, but I did not find this particular little guy.
***EDIT***
Sooo, right after I posted this my oldest shows me a list from school stating the things he has to have for his valentine's day party in four days. One of those things being a 'creative' Valentine's Day box. I thought great, another thing to get done. But then it came to me, so I packed up the kids and we ran up to Hobby Lobby before it closed. And by the way, why do they close at 8 and on Sundays? Don't they know people craft all day, all night and on weekends too?!
Anyway the trip to Hob Lob ended up being more time consuming than the actual making of the box.  We used an oatmeal box, two doll eyes we bought for 99 cents, about 1/3 yd. 'of monster fur,' and a bit of red felt.  We used a hot glue gun, and about twenty minutes later this is the masterpiece we ended up with.....
I'm crazy about him! Big guy can't wait to take him to school!

Peas Please!

I want this Copper Garden Peas Necklace. I love the name, and the green and brown with the little curly are soo cute! You can have it too from Munchkin Mama Designs  on etsy.

I want these too! Seriously hip and cute!!! I found this Nostalgic Initial drop necklace here at Hattie Rex.

and I found this colorful and fun Letter Drop necklace in the same shop here.

Oh, The Land Of Nod

I found this site of things new to me...I can't believe I've never seen Land Of Nod before. It's almost like a Pottery Barn/IKEA. Super cute stuff. Not that I'll be shopping there all the time, or ever, but what a great place for ideas!! Check it out. I thought these suit cases were adoreable.

I found this shelf
and it totally reminded me of the shelves we have in our playroom, they look like this...

I got these for ten bucks at PB Outlet.
One more thing I love about it, is that it sounds like some magical Dr. Seuss place. I could just see the next book The Cat in the Hat Retires to the Land Of Nod.

My Outlet...Mall

These are some of the great bargains I have found at the Pottery Barn Williams Sonoma Outlet. I adore that place. This was the first piece I bought there for only $50. I *think* it was part of the Bella Collection at PB Teen.

This is one of my favorites. Again 50 bucks.

Love this thing.  Look at all that storage!!

I got this bed for my little guy for $100. Not exactly from the deal of the century, but it was a deal considering they are normally many hundreds of dollars!! Plus it's totally paintable when he gets his own style.
Like it or not, I sure think it's cute!!
This is the latest thing I've bought, and a great deal. I immediately grabbed the tag as soon as I saw it. (That is one thing I have learned, and the number one rule of outlet furniture shopping *Grab the tag immediately* Even if you are just looking or thinking about it, get the tag, because it will be gone when you turn around, or when you finally five minutes [too late] convince your husband that you can't go on breathing without it.)
On to the find...this headboard and footboard is from Crate and Barrel Outlet for $70.
And those side tables were found at the top of a barn my parents bought....free.

Light Bulb!!!

First, I wanted to announce that yesterday I found a badtastically awesome idea! I am going to start a business! ...I think... I really want to so bad it hurts! I can't tell what it is just yet. Planning, lots of planning ahead and then sharing...promise. I just had to get that out.

Antique Closet

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm all about a bargain. I love to look for, find, and take them home! I live near great Outlet Malls, which really helps, but I also LOVE a great antique find! I thought I'd share some of the things I've come across. This is my most recent love  find from craigslist for only $20. It still needs a little fixin up, but I love it.
I cleaned her up, hammered a few things back together. (Still need to fix the bottom drawers). Added three shelves, some ruffles, white paint and then shoved my fabrics in. So pretty, and I love that it only cost
20 bucks!

Doll Babies

So, I know I started a quilt awhile back, but I've started and finished like five other things since then. I'm all about instant gratification. It was taking way too long for me. I'm still working on it. But here are a couple things I've made since then.
These were kind of a mixture of some things I found online and what the boys wanted.
Goodness people sure are hard to draw and hard to sew. This was the best doll baby
I could come up with for my doll baby.
****
Then, I saw these at Owly Baby on esty...

And then I found this tutorial on The Sometimes Crafter, so then came these....
I've seen variations of these, so I went for it. Glad I went with squares...they were pretty easy!
I have also started a couple other things, but I really do want to finish my quilt I started.
Focus.

Fishy Fishy

Check out these HATS! They make me laugh! If you really want one and you can knit head over to knitty.com and she will tell you exactly how to knit one of these babies. I probably won't be knitting anytime soon, but I had to share because they are hilarious!
